Easy Linen ModCloth Dress that is Far From Boring

ModCloth gets me on a style and emotional level. I fancy wearing clothes that reflect my interests (heavy on nostalgia and vintage inspiration) and I also appreciate styles that are available to folks in a variety of sizes. It feels totally good when someone compliments my style at the pool or on the streets, and I can be confident that people in sizes XXS-4X can find my same exact style.

I paired up with ModCloth to style an outfit from the new arrivals. After weighing my options of many super cute outfits, ultimately I chose the Broadcast Coordinate shirt dress in horse print. I have been wanting an effortless statement summer dress that I feel literally comfortable in no matter what the occasion. I don’t know about you, but I am a sucker for breathable linen. It is my most coveted fabric that I wish was used more often.  The fit is incredible. The dress fits me perfectly.  I am wearing a size 1X. You can read find my measurements here. I am a fan that this buttons to my neck without it being tight. The buttons do not gap in the chest which is quite a feat! And how could I forget the poppy graphic design and color? Bright pink with colorful accent horses?  The print of horses and prize ribbons remind me of the annual summer country fair in my rural hometown. A visit to the county fair was never complete without a visit to the horse stalls! It’s not just because my memory has photographed the horse stalls decorated in ribbons that make this print special. It’s just plain great all around. In fact, while wearing this dress in the grocery store someone stopped me to say: What a unique print! You don’t see prints like that. Such as the OMGeo bracelet from ModCloth, Birkenstock sandals, and a vintage bag sent to me from another blogger (Thank you, Lauren!).
