Anyone who knows me knows that I am a long time fan of ModCloth. I adore vintage inspired contemporary clothing that is well made. Most, if not all, of ModCloth’s house brand comes in sizes XXS-4X. Their clothing fits me impeccably too. When I heard ModCloth IRL was coming to where it all began (ModCloth started in Pittsburgh), I was excited! Aire, ModCloth’s Senior Fashion Press Specialist, invited me to a press event to give me and other Pittsburgh bloggers a chance to try on items and shop privately. OMG YES PLEASE.

Festive decor.
At a ModCloth IRL pop-up store you are handed a clipboard. The clipboard & accompanying form are to write down information from the clothing tag and the size(s) you want. When you are complete, hand the clipboard to a stylist and they will place the appropriate clothing in your dressing room to try on. Totally stress free. My list used up an entire sheet, plus I chose to try on most items in 2 sizes. No one complained.
I had so many favorites it was ridiculous. But being a lady of finite funds, I narrowed it down to two items and updated my online wishlist when I got home.

This is me trying on items in the store. I am really into overall and suspender jumpers at the moment. I ordered the middle and right one, I want (need?) the plaid one so bad.

I wore a ModCloth polka dot skirt and shirt to the event. I am grinning stupidly and holding up my gift bag. Want to know what was in it?

The official ModCloth Pittsburgh T-shirt was in my event gift bag.
I was in my element, shopping and trying on clothes I know I’ll love and will fit me! If you get a chance to shop a ModCloth IRL pop-up store I highly suggest it. Everyone I met was very friendly and helpful. They are there to offer style advice if you need it too!
