How To Create a Spring Uniform.

I wanted to create a spring uniform for those days when I binge watch Netflix, order take-out and then take the dog on a long walk to get coffee. I went with a simple silhouette of a loose short patterned dress, decorative ankle socks, metallic oxfords, and statement sunglasses. I created two outfits following this formula that are both comfortable, cute and spring-like yet totally different. I chose items you may already have, can be easily found in a thrift store (hint: there are always plenty of oxfords in the men’s section) and are available by various designers at various price points and sizes. Feel free to use this formula and tag me if you do (@Jamie_JeTaime #FashionIsMagic).

So comfortable!

The dress is from Old Navy Outlet: I couldn’t find this dress online, but this and this are similar. I literally just bought this dress, so it is likely still in stores or at least in outlets.

I am totally in love with my new sunglasses. They were $3.99 from a regional chain called Gabriel Brothers.

The dreamy watermelon earrings are from Vinca . You can save 15% at Vinca by using code “jetaime” through the month of April. See a better image on my instagram!

I love shopping at Clarks Shoes outlet. Clarks had a buy one get one for $20 (including sale items), so I of indulged in oxford mania by purchasing Clarks Women’s Glick Resseta Oxford in silver (continue reading to see the other pair I chose).

The emoji socks are from Target. I love the sheer ankle with fluorescent designs. The design helps keep an outfit from becoming too serious.

Frannie approved!

This striped rib-knit swing dress is also from Old Navy: click here for XS to XXL or click here for 1X – 4X.

Look at this precious old tile!

The shoes are also from Clarks Shoes outlet.  Remember when I said the shoes were buy one get one for $20 including clearance? This the other pair I chose. The style is Clarks Women’s Glick Darby Flat in Champagne.

The socks are a cutie flamingo print from Target.

Remember to tag me if you try out this spring uniform (@Jamie_JeTaime #FashionIsMagic). All the best!

xoxo jamie

P.S. Thank you to everyone who helped me choose which shoes to get via my Instagram stories! I still may go back and get the other two pair. I have such a weakness for oxfords.
