I was going to create a clever post for you all about how to be comfortable and cozy this winter with a focus on plus size comfort clothes that are a little bit extra. But sometimes I just want to share an outfit I am super excited about! I haven’t been as excited for my new clothes since my outfit here. Besides I think these photos speak for themselves.
Extra Metallic. Extra Comfort. A Plus Size Outfit of the Day.
Yesterday, I found out an early Christmas present from Kevin arrived from ELOQUII. Yes, he shops for clothes for me (I have exactly what I want in a partner. haha). He respects my enthusiasm for gifts and clothing, and let me open it 26 days before Christmas.
There may be affiliate links in this blog posting where I receive a small percentage of what you order. This doesn’t affect your price in any way. It is an easy way for you to help me if you plan to shop anyway! I really appreciate it!
Two of the items in the package:
So of course I wore them together. Just a lil bit extra.

Boots are Sam Edelman from a previous season.
I totally recommend both my top and pants.
But let me express my love for Miracle Flawless Side Stripe Leggings.
1) They are thick: They are warm for winter and do not show underwear lines.
2) They are sturdy: I don’t have any fears of them splitting.
3) They stay up: Have you had leggings that slip down? We all have.
4) They are easy to dress up or down.
5) The stripes! I LOVE THE stripes. They are available in other options, if you this isn’t your style (feel free to click on links):
I am typically a size 18/20 nowadays. But Kevin ordered me a 16. This fits perfectly for me.
I am a sucker for anything metallic and turtleneck. This metallic shirt was on my wish list for a while!
It is a very thin shirt. So for cold days, I highly suggest layering. Although it is thin, it is big in style. I’m not sure if I want gold or shiny black next.
I will pair my new mock neck with these overalls from Universal Standard:

Glasses: Coastal.com // Turtleneck & Boots are vintage
And here is my response for people who tell me to tone it down. That I don’t act appropriate for my age or size:
There you have it! I’ll share my other gifts soon.
Have a great December!
All the best,
Jamie
