Have yinz heard of the Anna Sui X ModCloth collab? Sizes 0-24. Yes, it includes plus sizes! I just get so psyched when revered designers include plus sizes. This kind of thing used to never happen for us plus sizes! To be honest it made following fashion depressing because I knew I could never participate in the styles I wanted to. Kind of like a lurker to fashion, not an active participant. Things are changing!
The Anna Sui Collection: 2018 Does 90s Does 70s
The collection is a revisit of Sui’s past pieces. This has a perfect 90s does 70s retro vibe. Sizes up to a size 24 is a step in the right direction. However I sincerely larger sizes are included in the next collection. I just want all of my friends to be able to wear the clothing I wear if they want to!

So many classic Anna Sui dresses to choose from
I was so torn on which Anna Sui dress I wanted most. I initially gravitated toward the velvet number. I still want it. But ultimately, I fell hard for this 2018 does 90s does 70s number! I feel I made the right decision! Which one would you choose from below?
The details of my Rooted in Retro Anna Sui Maxi Dress
Take a look at the black detailing on this dress! The sleeves!
For this Anna Sui X ModCloth dress, the top runs small. Especially the ribcage area. Size up one or two sizes. The bottom portion seems to run true to size. I am wearing an 18 and my bust size is 36H or I.
This Anna Sui dress can be styled a multitude of ways. I chose to wear it with my blue mod booties and a vintage inspired purse (also worn here). And a faux fur coat to keep warm.
I am so excited to have Anna Sui number that I am going to wear this dress to the Dallas Market Apparel and Accessories Market Fashion show tomorrow. I am pairing it with my yellow slides (they are small and travel easy), my blue bag shown here and 70s acetate earrings from New Mermaid. I am going to Dallas to be a trend spotter at the Dallas Market (watch my IG stories) and I am so excited about that!
I’ve been wearing a lot of ModCloth lately. I am part of the #ModClothSquad which means I get to try out new clothing. They don’t sponsor this blog post. This is all me. I’ve been shopping with them way before I ever created a blog. So this partnership is natural and real.
