Jamie Hamilton: Vintage Loving, Artist, Plus Size Style

Hi! I’m a creative director with a love for coffee, design, trends and all things vintage. I’m a little off beat with a passion for design. I live in Tucson, Arizona with my husband and pets.

I creative direct all of the content I share. I started Jamie JeTaime in 2016 because editorial fashion rarely featured plus size people. I thought, WELL I COULD DO THAT as I’m plus size too. And I did.

You can follow along as I update my blog to share the latest in midcentury ranch restoration or the latest in plus size clothing.

While forever driven by fashion editorials, I have expanded my current art to include a bit of anything I find compelling. I have utilized my BFA in sculpture  and a healthy dose of sense of humor to create compelling images with my assistant and partner, Kevin Deel.

We have restored two historic homes together: one turn of the century Edwardian and currently a mid-century ranch with modernist elements. I am an avid collector of old things and passionate about architectural preservation. I often use my historical décor or architectural elements in photos. I’m constantly mentally cataloging photoshoot locations.

I have been featured in numerous publications, including books: InStyle, Atomic Ranch Magazine, Teen Vogue, Fashionista, Refinery 29 and many more.

Previous clients: Nike, Dr. Martens, Macy’s, Almay, Dove, Crocs, Nooworks, MeUndies and many more.

I am consistently immersed in fashion trends, the art world, vintage 50s-90s fashion and home décor accuracy, décor (I have a weakness for Hollywood Regency) and architecture (I love anything from a gawdy Italianate to a Palm Springs modernist to a 70s double wide trailer).

When it is safer to do so, I look forward to traveling again. As I am an avid world traveler and have formally studied in three countries!
